The observation
Nearly every abandoned goal dies the same way. Not in one dramatic collapse, but in silence: a missed workout with no consequence, a skipped chapter no one saw, an application you never sent. When nothing happens, nothing changes.
Commitment works when three things line up. The rules are clear. Progress is visible. Follow-through is shared with other people. Huntz was built to put all three in one place: a marketplace for accountability.
What Huntz is
Huntz is an accountability challenge platform. You join a structured challenge, called a Hunt, and commit a stake. The rules are published before you join. You submit proof of progress on the published schedule. Finish, and you recover your stake in full plus a share of the stakes forfeited by participants who quit or fall short.

What we believe
- Rules first. Every Hunt publishes its complete rules before anyone joins: cadence, duration, proof requirements, allowed misses and grace days, stake, service fee, completion threshold. Frozen at publication. Never changed retroactively.
- Verification disclosed up front. Submissions are evaluated against the published rules. Automated checks make a first pass; anything unclear gets human review. Disputes are decided by Huntz, acting reasonably. We do not promise absolute proof of anything, and we say so plainly.
- Effort you can show. Proof is scheduled and defined before you start. If it cannot be shown, it cannot be a rule.
- No element of chance. Huntz never wagers against you. Not a bank, not a bookmaker, not gambling.
- One way we get paid. Our only compensation is the service fee shown when you join. Huntz never keeps forfeited stakes; every forfeit is distributed to finishers.
Where we are today
The first Hunts are being developed now, directly with selected creators for their communities. Self-service tools for creators to launch Hunts independently are planned for later. The waitlist is the way in.
