Welcome to Huntz ("Huntz," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Huntz mobile application, our website at huntz.ai, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Platform.
1Who We Are
Huntz, Inc. operates the Huntz platform, which enables users to participate in goal-based challenges ("Hunts"), submit proof of progress, interact with other participants, and receive payouts based on successful completion of Hunt requirements.

2Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Platform.
Information You Provide
Account Information
When creating an account, we may collect:
- Name
- Username
- Email address
- Password
- Date of birth
We use this information to create and secure your account, verify your eligibility, and personalize your experience.
Identity and Eligibility Information
To determine whether you are eligible to participate in certain Hunts, we may collect:
- State or country of residence
- Information necessary to verify your identity where required by law or our fraud-prevention procedures.
Payment Information
If you participate in Hunts involving entry fees or payouts, we collect information necessary to process payments, including:
- Bank account information
- ACH authorization
- Transaction history
- Payout information
Payment processing is performed by third-party payment providers. Huntz does not store your complete payment card information.
Hunt Activity
When participating in Hunts, we collect information relating to your participation, including:
- Hunts joined
- Entry fees
- Progress submissions
- Photos
- Videos
- Written reflections
- Completion history
- Verification outcomes
This information allows us to operate Hunts, determine outcomes, prevent fraud, and improve the Platform.
Communications
We collect information when you communicate with us, including:
- Customer support emails
- In-app support requests
- Dispute submissions
- Survey responses
- Feedback
Host Applications
If you apply to become a Hunt Host, we may collect:
- Application responses
- Connected social media accounts
- Audience information
- Other information you choose to provide during the application process
Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Device type
- Operating system
- Device model
- App version
- IP address
- Device identifiers
- Crash reports
- Browser type
- Session information
- Usage analytics
- Features accessed
- Time spent using the Platform
We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address to determine jurisdictional eligibility and improve security. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you separately choose to enable a future feature requiring location.

Our payment processors may provide:

Connected Social Accounts
If you choose to connect a supported social media account (such as TikTok) to verify Hunt participation, we receive only the information you authorize through that platform.
We do not receive your password.
We do not post content on your behalf without your permission.
You may disconnect linked accounts at any time through your account settings or through the social platform.
Service Providers
We receive information from vendors that help us provide our services, including analytics providers, cloud hosting providers, customer support platforms, and security providers.
Information We Do Not Collect
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Huntz does not collect:
- Biometric identifiers such as facial geometry templates, fingerprints, or voiceprints
- Precise GPS location
- Contact lists from your device
- Health information from Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or similar device health APIs
Although users may voluntarily upload photos or videos as proof for Hunt verification, Huntz does not use those images to create or store biometric identifiers.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
3How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to operate, improve, and secure the Platform.
Specifically, we use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Verify your identity and eligibility
- Operate Hunts
- Record proof submissions
- Verify Hunt completion
- Calculate payouts
- Administer dispute processes
- Process payments
- Detect fraud
- Prevent abuse
- Prevent multiple or fake accounts
- Protect Platform security
- Respond to customer support requests
- Communicate important account updates
- Send transaction confirmations
- Send proof reminders
- Send payout notifications
- Improve Platform functionality
- Develop new features
- Measure Platform performance
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enforce our Terms of Service
AI-Assisted Verification
To help review proof submissions and detect potential fraud, Huntz may use artificial intelligence systems provided by trusted third-party service providers, including Anthropic's Claude models and similar technologies.
AI systems may assist in:
- Reviewing proof submissions
- Detecting suspicious activity
- Identifying duplicate or manipulated submissions
- Flagging possible fraud
- Supporting moderation decisions
Automated systems do not by themselves determine Hunt outcomes.
Whenever an AI system flags a submission that could affect a user's stake, payout, or eligibility, the submission is reviewed by a person before a final decision is made.
Users may dispute verification decisions in accordance with our Terms of Service.
AI Training
We do not use your proof submissions to train publicly available third-party AI models.
Where available, we configure AI service providers to process submissions without using them to improve or train public foundation models.
Marketing
With your consent, we may send newsletters, announcements, promotional emails, and product updates.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or through your account settings.
Certain transactional communications—such as payment confirmations, dispute notices, proof reminders, and security notifications—cannot be disabled while you have an active account or active Hunt.
4Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable, we process personal information based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
- Performance of our contract with you
- Your consent
- Our legitimate business interests, including fraud prevention, security, customer support, analytics, and product improvement
- Compliance with legal obligations
5Your Content and Public Visibility
Your proof submissions—including photos, videos, written reflections, and other verification materials—are private by default.
Proof submissions are visible only to:
- You
- Authorized Huntz personnel responsible for verification, moderation, fraud prevention, or customer support
- Trusted service providers assisting us with verification and fraud detection
Other Hunt participants may see limited profile information associated with your participation, including:
- Username
- Profile photo
- Hunt participation
- Completion status
Users control whether to generate or publicly share share-cards or similar social content.
Huntz will never use your proof submissions, photos, or videos in our own advertising or marketing without your separate, explicit consent.
6How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information only when necessary to operate the Platform.
We may share information with the following categories of recipients:
Payment Providers
To process entry fees, payouts, refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, and payment verification.
Cloud Infrastructure Providers
To host our applications, databases, backups, and storage systems.
Analytics Providers
To understand how users interact with the Platform and improve our products and services.
Email and Communications Providers
To deliver transactional emails, account notifications, newsletters, and push notifications.
Customer Support Providers
To manage customer support requests submitted through email or in-app support.
AI Service Providers
We may share proof submissions with AI service providers solely for verification, fraud detection, moderation assistance, and security purposes.
These providers are contractually restricted from using your information except to provide services on our behalf.
Professional Advisors
Including attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, and consultants when necessary to provide professional services or comply with legal obligations.
Business Transfers
If Huntz is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users when required by applicable law.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law
- Respond to lawful requests from government authorities
- Enforce our agreements
- Protect the rights or safety of Huntz, our users, or others
- Detect or investigate fraud or security incidents
All third-party service providers receiving personal information are required to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to Huntz.
7Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our agreements, and protect our legitimate business interests.
Our standard retention periods are:

| Aggregated or de-identified analytics | May be retained indefinitely because they no longer identify an individual |
Deleting your account does not automatically remove information we are legally required to retain or information reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or enforce our Terms of Service.
If you request deletion while participating in an active Hunt, we may retain records necessary to complete the Hunt, administer any applicable dispute period, process payouts or refunds, and satisfy our contractual and legal obligations.
8Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
These safeguards include, where appropriate:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS
- Encryption of sensitive information at rest
- Role-based access controls limiting employee access to information needed for their job responsibilities
- Authentication and authorization controls
- Security monitoring and logging
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability management
- Secure cloud infrastructure provided by reputable service providers
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and applicable regulators as required by law.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and should immediately notify us at team@huntz.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
9Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
These rights may include the ability to:
- Access the personal information we maintain about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal exceptions
- Receive a portable copy of your information where required by law

- Disconnect linked social media accounts

We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Subject to applicable law, California residents may have the right to:

Huntz does not sell personal information.
Huntz does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The purposes for which we use personal information are described in Section 3.
The categories of third parties with whom we share information are described in Section 6.
Where we collect sensitive personal information, such as financial account information needed to process entry fees and payouts, we use that information solely for the purposes necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Other U.S. State Privacy Laws
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Indiana, and other states that adopt similar laws, may have comparable rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or appeal decisions regarding their personal information.

International Users
Huntz is available to users in multiple countries.
By using the Platform, you understand and agree that your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where Huntz or its service providers operate.
The privacy and data protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your country of residence.
Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information. If additional country-specific privacy rights apply to you, we will honor those rights as required by applicable law.
10Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended only for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information and close the associated account.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Platform.
On our website, cookies may be used for:

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.
Within our mobile application, we may use device identifiers and similar technologies for:
- Analytics
- Performance monitoring
- Fraud prevention
- Security
- Improving user experience
We do not currently use cookies or device identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising or personalized advertising.
If our practices change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, obtain any necessary consent before using cookies or similar technologies for advertising purposes.
12Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business, technology, legal obligations, or privacy practices.
When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy and provide notice through the Platform, by email, or through other appropriate communication methods where required by law.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
